The stubborn idolatry of the Cruz supporters is maddening. They cannot see that it is most important to stop the Democrats and secondly to get their guy in power. They seem to truly believe there is no difference between Hillary and Trump. Maddening!
We've longed for a good Christian candidate. But when we finally get one, who is also popular, his followers think it is the Second Coming. If we do not revere Cruz (almost to the extent of worship) they become belligerent and insulting. I've heard that some say their Cruz following/worshiping friends will actually become angry and block or unfriend them on social media. Idolatry is sacrilegious.
Such unbridled passion is existent in the Trump and Sanders campaigns, but it is presumably not guided by Christians in particular or with a Christian theme. That is logical because we have heard Sanders is not Christian; and Trump, who says he is, does not wear it on his sleeve. Many great presidents have not either. It is not a job requirement. For myself in all of this, I always want a Christian leader, BUT I'm not electing a priest or minister.
You might be interested to know that all of our sociopolitical enemies, including the liberal press and leftist organizations are now avidly (even rabidly) targeting Trump. More and more illegal methods are being employed in this effort. The left and mainstream media is realizing a Trump presidency is possible , and they are TERRIFIED. So you should not be. They are scared to death of him. And that means that you should probably consider him as your candidate and (should he appear to be winning) get behind him. At all cost, you should stop trashing Trump yourself; for, if you don't, you are helping our enemies.
